The entire world is eagerly waiting for the London Olympics 2012. The £27m worth grand opening ceremony is scheduled on 27th July, 2012. The ceremony will kick off sharp at 9pm with the ringing of the largest harmonically tuned bell in Europe. The Oscar-winning famous director Danny Boyle has been chosen as the artistic director for the ceremony. A music playlist containing 86 songs that are supposed to be played in the opening ceremony have been leaked. The list with some interesting additions and omissions has indeed raised the excitement level in the people even more. The playlist include songs ranging from modern pop hits to classical compositions.
The leaked music set list was first posted in United Kingdom’s tabloid newspaper named The Sun. Later on, the Telegraph and Yahoo! Sports also posted the playlist on the site. As per the leaked list, almost all famous and expected artists and bands will perform in the opening ceremony, including David Bowie, the Beatles, the Who, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, Led Zeppelin, and the Clash. Plus, some of the English superstars like Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Blur, Muse, and all time favorite rock band Coldplay will also set the stage on fire.

The track was banned by the BBC in the year 1977.
